National EMS recertification available on-line

The NREMT has Online Recertification. Nationally Certified EMS Professionals can manage their entire recertification process online - including banking and tracking of continuing education (CE).

Nationally Certified EMS Professionals may enter their CE information and their Agency (Employer) Training Officer can apply CE to their bank. The Nationally Certified EMS Professional will submit their completed or full CE records to their Training Officer (and/or Medical Director) for verification prior to submission to the NREMT. This process eliminates the paper forms, allows for electronic verification, payment and submission.

To use this service:

  • login to your NREMT account* on
  • click 'My Certification'
  • look below your certification number for 'Agency'
  • click on 'Unaffiliated' and follow the prompts to affiliate with your Agency (Employer)
  • use the 'Manage Education' tab to bank your CE

*Detailed instructions are available in the NREMT Online Recertification Guide
